Toby regarded whether this neighbor was a bank robber.
He was very scared.
However, he proposed the story of the clipping to neighbor.
Neighbor said, "I am a policeman".
To write the story of the burglar case, neighbor had a clipping.
Toby was relieved.

However, it seems to be very dangerous.
Mrs White asked monkey's paw to give them 3,000 pounds after Tom had returned.

However, anything did not occur though several days passed.

They did not think that the story of monkey's paw was true.
But,when their son set off for work, the stranger had visited Mr. and Mrs.White.

He said, "Your son died of the machine accident".

And, he passed 3,000 pounds as the apology to them.
